Things I learned from old mummy films...

This has been rattling around in my head for quite a while now, especially as my father and I enjoy watching old black & white Boris Karlov and other mummy films. Here are things I've learned from watching old mummy films... ;)

  1. Never open a mummy's sarcophagus
  2. Never sit with your back to a mummy's open sarcophagus.
  3. Never sit at night with your back to a mummy's open sarcophagus.
  4. Never sit alone at night with your back to a mummy's open sarcophagus.
  5. Never read aloud the mummy's curse alone at night while sitting with your back to a mummy's open sarcophagus.
  6. When you hear the mummy stirring behind you after reading his curse aloud alone at night with your back to his open sarcophagus, run and don't wait for the mummy to attack you alone in the room at night where you sat with your back to his open sarcophagus and read his curse out loud, which, of course, brought him back to life. However, keep in mind that as fast as you can run through the maze of dark streets at night to escape him, and as slow as the still-bound mummy drags himself shuffling along those dark streets, he will always catch up to you before you can escape... ;)
